I NEED HELP
there are two formulas to calculate how many cals you burn with steps
1. 0,5 * weight in kg * km
2. Weight in kg * 0,0005 * number of steps
Which one is the most accurate?
Like today I walked 28k steps and I’m around 53kg (17,5km c.a.)
So is it
1. 460cal
2. 740cal
Which one is it they’re so diff
I think the second one might be the most accurate but Idk now that I have found the other one
I just went back to my old logs and the second one seems to be the most accurate, but Idk what do u think?
I’m gonna use the other one tho bc it seems more accurate aaand let’s see how much I lose and if it’s accurate

the 2nd formula seems more accurate. i mean 460kcal for 28k steps is underestimating it. 10k steps alone roughly burns 300kcal - 500kcal.

i just said to my friend that i wanna show off at this party on friday that ive lost weight and he was like “yeah ur face (we were video chatting) looks a lot smaller have you lost a significant amount of weight then?” (a lil bit hurt he never realised considering most ppl completely have n considering it was 3 months to get to my current weight its not exactly a slow progress lmao) and i was like yeah i have and he asked how so i basically have said like i think i had BED which is not actually a lie, i do think i was struggling with it for about a year, or at least a lot of symptoms. i would eat even when i wasnt hungry, id make 2-3 portions for dinner and eat the first portion, be full yet continue to eat the second and the third if id made it. i would eat to the point i was in pain. i was eating just to fill a void essentially. it might not be quite the level of BED but i definitely struggled with overeating and not knowing when to stop. but i figured really honing in on the fact that i think i had BED and now i don’t struggle was like the only way to non suspiciously explain how ive lost sm weight. like i was just SO DESPERATE to tell someone about my weight loss and to flex a bit tbh and i cant just say eating better and walking has made me lose this much this fast like its just not a viable excuse and im not lying i defo struggled with eating too much and my diet was atrocious it was just straight up carbs i barely ate vegetables apart from sweetcorn like it was crap but no one really knew that so idk its nice to be able to finally tell someone that i know ive lost weight bc when people mention it im like oh really??? as if i dont know or change subject so its been nice to address it but in a way that it wont be suspicious or make anyone worry you know? ive just wanted to boast for so fucken long lmaaao
