    hiiii!! im back 

     

    making a new accountability so i can get ready for my europe trip in june - july!

     

    quick catch up/summary 

    • found out i have insulin resistance and PCOS fml which has made me gain around 25kgs  :( 
    • back at my highest weight --> around mid sixties
    • i'm not weighing myself at the moment and probable wont at all this time round because i just want to go as hard as possible and see how much i can lose in the next 7 weeks. i just don't want to discourage myself if its not as fast as i want 
    • at the moment i want to be losing at a rate of 1.5-2kg per week, which will be hard ahhh 
    • want to lose around 10.5 - 14 kg by June 24th (49 days)
    • i'll be logging what i eat, the exercise i do, and daily updates

    i'm going on a trip around europe for 3-4 weeks and i want to get to approx 54kg. i loved my body in Dec 21 and im estimating i was 53-55kg. that's just underweight for me, which i think is a good goal because i don't want to get too low again

     

    honestly scared as shite because idk if that amount of weight loss is possible in 7ish weeks, so let me know if you've lost similar amounts in that time to reassure me HAHA

     

     

    diet + exercise plan 

    • 12-2-30 treadmill every morning
    • pilates 5x per week
    • weight lifting 2x per week
    • under 250 cals daily (i'm not a meticulous counter so i like to go low incase i miscount + its so hard to lose weight w IR)
    • take 1000mg metformin daily 
    • under 20-25g of carbs daily

      Overall, a pretty decent day. i need to get back into pilates as i've been having a lot of nausea with the metformin so i've been slacking with exercise recently. i'm feeling a bit nervous about not losing the weight, like im scared i wont lose enough. In the middle of May, i have a 9 day fast scheduled, as well as a 8 day fast in June, so hopefully i will lose the weight. I just need to make sure i count my carbs and do 1-2 fast days per week as this insulin resistance will be the death of me. I'll include a pic of my goal weight and where i think i look the best and happiest <3

        Hii! You're also going to Europe in June? Its like fate I find 2 people also going to Europe in June and want to lose weight till then. Nice to meet you! You look amazing in that pic I'm sure you'll look EVEN better by Europe. Oh and I love your hair color!

          Very happy with today's log! Last night i saw this awesome diet which i've never heard of and it basically follows the same principles as i'm following now, except more strict. It's called the Copenhagen Diet which is ironic because i'm going to Copenhagen on my Europe trip hahahahah. It's only for 13 days but i might just keep doing it if it's easy. I don't want to be chopping and changing through 'fad diets' but this one seems legit and i like how it's very planned and organised. It's slightly higher than my cal limit - i think it's between 350 and 600 cals or so. Ill insert the web pic that explains the daily meal plan

           

          I just don't want to be looking fat and disgusting when surrounded by a bunch of skinny and beautiful scandinavian women. It makes me so sad considering i was like that one year ago and now i'm just bleh.

           

          edit: i ate a tiny bit of chocolate and 2 chips/fries. i feel so guilty but i think i just did it because i was thinking 'oh i'm starting this SUPER strict diet tomorrow'. Which to be fair, is true. I just need to move on and not feel bad about it. Tomorrow when i start the copenhagen diet things will hopefully go back on track because i actually had a really good week last week. I'm just worried it wont work but tbh im probably just overthinking. It's so shit because when i eat carbs, it doesn't matter if its low cal, ill gain because of my PCOS - sad face : ((((((((((

          I do want to say, just to warn you guys, be careful about 'just following CICO'. That sounded so intense but basically last year i maintained a bmi of 15-17 all year by just eating 300-500 calories of carby snacks, so my only macronutrient was carbs. Then all of a sudden in Jan 2022 I went from 53 ---> 69 in just over a month without changing my diet. Basically, just make sure you eat vegetables and protein and not just junk because it's 'low in calories' bc seriously this is the worst possible scenario - i mean i will put on 5 kg in a week if i eat any carbs now because my body just produces too much insulin. Sorry for the long rant and science lesson hahaha but i just had to say it, because people who say CICO is the only thing that matters (used to be me), don't actually know what they're talking about bc if you mess with your hormones, a.k.a insulin, it will be 100000x harder to lose!!d04fd0517b018fe6ac7249a3bd895fbe.jpg

            I know!! its crazy. I saw your accountability and had to follow since we have to same goal to look good for our trips! Thank you lots x I hope i can get back there by then, it is A LOT of weight to lose but i guess we will have to wait and see ♡

              I'm not going to do the 'Copenhagen diet' just because i just put everything into MFP and it's actually not as low in carbs as i would have liked. I'm just going to make sure my carb count is under control and my exercise is adequate ! Trying to stay optimistic. I think being back on MPA is really helpful for me as it reminds me why im doing this. It's so tough with this PCOS because every normal person can lose at a decent rate but with me it's so trial and error. Ah well we will see. I think i keep being like 'oh i'll be more hardcore tomorrow', then i just sort of lazily restrict and let myself slightly go over my carbs ugh. Not anymore!! I know i can do this and i will do it! Nothing is impossible, i just have to work extra hard if i really want it that bad. I'm struggling with increasing exercise intensity because i always used to lose primarily through restriction, but now i'm realising how important it is. I saw this holistic nutritionist a couple months ago who said that she used to believe in the 80/20 rule but now thinks diet/exercise is 50/50, which is super interesting.                             I'm feeling so so good!! i think i'm back in my restrictive mode and i'm feeling very optimistic and positive. My shorts are practically falling off me so that's a good sign. I really don't know how much i'll lose by the holiday, but i'm hoping to at least be back at a bmi of 17.5-18 by then. I'm only eating twice a day at the moment, and when i do, it's a cluster of low carb and semi low cal foods. I'm so excited for when i get to my second milestone and i can wear all my fav clothes (as they'll fit again), and i can take photos and go shopping without feeling like a whale ahhhh im just so excited. I want to link my Europe inspo pinterest board but its got my real name : ( so i might copy it onto a different account so i can link it! Let me know anything you guys think i should include in this accountability! <3

                                this is basically my two month plan that goes from the 1st of may --> 24th of june. The 'potential' weights with the arrows indicate the weight possiblities if i complete the fasts and the other weights that just say est. are based on calculations if i just restrict. if i do the fasts completely, its much more likely il hit my goal weight before the trip which is kind of a safety net you know

                                  sorry ive been a bit MIA in the last couple of days, i have a bunch of uni assessments due next week :// Ill still be logging my food etc. ofc, i just wont be able to write much as ill be short for time xx
                                   
                                  ALSO, the most embarrassing thing happened to me yesterday. So i was at pilates and at the moment (bc im fat) i always wear a massive jumper and then these sport mini shorts that are WAY too big that i have to fold. So i legit looked like an idiot (one of my biggest motivations is to be able to get skinny enough to wear all those cute workout clothes again ugh i miss it) anyway, so then i rock up and im getting ready just sitting on the reformer machine and in walks this girl i knew from highschool i was legit mortified. Especially since i graduated 2-3 years ago when i was at one of my lowest weights and now my bmi is like 21 ish. Anyway it was just SO embarrassing. i was in the sort of 'popular' group EW i hate that term/word and i didnt even belong in that group but i was in it, and she was in like a really weird group (i dont want to sound rude because i do have aspergers so im definitely weird myself) so i didnt expect her to show up to this pilates class in legit a tiny sports bra and leggings
                                  fuck im so jealous of everyone there who's so skinny and can wear cute outfits
                                  that WILL be me!!
