im a healthy weight according to bmi calculator (16.6), considering iim a teen, but im like 9lbs away from being underweight so id say it took me 5 months so far, probably will be 2 weeks till i shed off the rest.

Crap girl what did you do? I'm 24.1 right now. I've just essentially been trying to stay under 800 - 900 calories. I've been at it since November 30th ish (Started at 153 so 25.5 BMI).

Sweet! Thanks
I am trying to work in a few higher calorie days that are still below my TDEE. Yesterday I had about 1200 calories I think. I'm happy with the rate I'm losing for the most part but even fast weight loss seems like it takes too long doesn't it lol?

i did 2468 diet for 2 months and 15 days
that's how i did it BUT i wasn't always eating that little i usually ate 4678, so one day 400,second 600,the second one 800
yeah basically just restricting
all it takes is patience ,to never give up is the most important thing
once you'll lose alot, you won't even know how to give up it'll get addicting
so yeah just do whatever works best for you & whatever you feel like you will be able to stick on for a LONG time. not like "im gonna eat 500 cals for few weeks to see how" remember that you have to be restricting/counting deficit for a long period of time
also what i did was alwayss counting deficit.
tdee - calories i ate = deficit . it rly helps you to stay on the track you see exactly how much you tried today
the bigger deficit =the faster weight loss

I was considering doing that diet as well, but I could never do 200 (just not gonna happen) I could probably manage 6789 though. Or even just cycling through three. I think I can manage sticking to this (at least between the 800-1000 range) for a long time and just do the severe restriction for a couple of months.
Thanks for all of your help!

Like 5 months from BMI 22 to 16.9 where I am currently. Probably could've got down quicker but I live with my parents so I had to do it slowly i.e high restrict, not exercise too much.
That’s awesome 😎

high restricting is actually p good, because your not completely depriving yourself but your still not eating too much, so high restricting is alot better for most people as it can help prevent binging!
and yeah im so impatient aha, i wish i could just lose all my weight overnight!

It took me two years to get to the weight I'm at now. I was I.P. three times and my weight went up. I had to lose it three times during that two years. But I'm here roughly where I want to be. Another 10 lbs off and I'll be happy.
My emotions are wasted from the road to weight loss. I'm empty and tired but my ED keeps me going.

Hi sweeties xx
Actually it didn't take very long for me as I was naturally skinny all my life.
A few years ago, doctors actually already worried about me being possibly anorexic as I was several kg underweight!!
And when my ED actually started off properly, I only had like 2-3 months to lose weight before I got inpatient for the first time- yet I was dangerously underweight back then too..
I was released from the clinic after 9 months- with only about 2 kg more than when I got in at first, and about 3 months later I found myself in hospital with a tube down my throat and with practically no heart rate
I'm almost back at that weight now..

was yours a combination of diet and exercise or just diet ???
Mostly diet.. the first 3 months I barely ate anything. The last 3 months I got into this binge cycle but still lost some weight. Right now I’m starting to hate food again and trying not to eat

No more than 500 cals most days. A salad of spinach, cherry tomatoes and plain tofu doused in red wine vinegar was my go to meal. Nothing with sugar unless it was fruit. And honestly I never binged, not sure how I managed that. I would also fast for periods of maybe 3 days at a time. All of that on top of walking maybe 10 miles a day.
I always got comments on how beautiful my skin was when I ate like that

Almost a year from 22 to 17.6 now but without a specific diet and restrictions. It's easy to maintain now because of slowly progress

I didn't get back to the underweight but I went from overweight 25.2 to borderline underweight 18.7 (-36 lbs) in 7 months, really only 4 months of trying. The first couple months I lost the majority of the weight, I wasn't so strict in the summer and my weight was all over the place and then when I went back to college I started again and got down to 102.

Two months. I went from 120 to 60 in two months and I about died my twin sister was scared so bad of losing me and she literally was put into the hospital the next day because she was so underweight she was 53 pounds. That took her three-four months. I am trying to be skinny again. My goal is 75 pounds and I am now 104.5 so I am getting there I was 125. 😔
Hi, please tell me how u did it? X

I've never been underweight :0( but my goal is 50kg... But I did go from 80kg to 68kg in about a month without anyone getting suspicious so that's nice!!

This time around I started at 135lbs (BMI 21.8) and got to 115lbs (BMI 18.6) (not underweight, but still) from March 15 to today (June 21) so three month and 6 days.

Sure! Mostly medium restriction. I’d say the majority of the time I stuck around 800 cals a day but I’m not like strict about it so I’d have days that were lower and days that were a little higher! I’ve been slowly working on trying to increase to high res lately though. I’m 5’6” and fairly active—I have a job that requires a decent amount of physical work and I also work out (mostly cardio lol). At the start of my relapse I worked out hard daily but the last two or so months it’s been a lot more casual. I’ve had maybe two or three binge episodes in the six months so not a ton and I purge if I do which I don’t recommend lol but ya know. Gotta be honest haha. I think that’s about it!may i ask what you have done to make this happen

it took me 2 months to get under bmi 17. i had a solid 2-3 weeks where i could barely sleep and was on 2-6 hours daily, once i fixed my sleep schedule it was still pretty hard to fall asleep because i was thinking about food so much.

oh jeez that's an old post it makes me nostalgic lol. basically i ate 600-700 calories for the first month starting mid march, by mid april i was down to around 120lbs. it was my first time restricting so weight fell off fast. then i went from 120 to 110 in like 3 weeks by barely eating on vacation i think around 100-300 calories a day? then i did 500-600 for the next month and lost the next 10 lbs and that was that. i think my hw might have been slightly higher than 136 actually cause i stopped weighing myself after the number got past that. also i didn't exercise at all
i was 13 at that time so my metabolism was probably pretty high

it depends on my starting weight, but I generally lose 5-9 lbs a month
HW= 155 lbs (bmi 26.6) ★ LW= 84 lbs (bmi 14.4) ★ SW for 2022 Relapse= 134 lbs (bmi 23) ★ CW= 120 lbs (bmi 20.6) (May 5th)
