I've realised as cheesy at it sounds, I do genuinely feel better on days that I go outside. Normally I sit indoors and rot, but the sun really does do something for my mood. Even going out in the cold is good for me, as little as I like to admit it.
i relate !! honestly an hour in the sun does more for me than any antidepressant i ever tried.
and good luck with your language goals <3 like you said perseverance is everything.

i think it may mean like... running one mile/kilometre (depending on which measuring system you use) would take you 9 min 20 seconds?
also i relate to the bilingual struggles too; i can understand, but can't say a single sentence in my parent's language! i fear i'd look like a fool trying to learn it now
oh, and most of all- best of luck with reaching your goal weight!! i know you can do it

like lyvelen said it means it takes you 9minutes and 20sec to walk a km or mile. i'm assuming km in your case.

Hi, thank you so much!! I hope I can reach my gw too; I'm more of a binger than restrictor but slow and steady after all.
I'm so glad somebody relates with the understanding-but-not-speaking thing! I feel like a fool whenever I speak, but I'm slowlyy trying to get past it. If you ever wanted to learn your parent's language, I'd say just go for it; ofc it's much easier said than done but everybody messes up when they're trying to learn something.
Thank you for your reply!! c:

hey, don't stress over it too much (easier said than done!)- your week sounds super stressful already and your body is probably using the food to restore itself. I don't think there's any real harm in allowing yourself to reset and restore today / Tuesday, if anything it'd be good for your metabolism (coming from another frequent overeater!)
sending you love <3
Hi! You're absolutely right; I just feel like I'm always binging as it is. This week has been stressful, but thankfully the brunt of it is over.

hey! i'm also prone to overeating (i literally also just overate today so... uh... haha,,), and i just wanted to say that sometimes the feeling just comes in waves. our bodies like to work against us and sometimes it really feels like it's futile to struggle, but know it will end eventually. i think we just have to wait it out! let our bodies readjust and all. or at least, that's the advice i was given by others...?
i have the same thing regarding the 'how the hell was i so good at restricting in the past???' thing going on- in the past i used to do omad and i was fine?? now i do it and i feel three steps away from death. and this was like... half a year ago. what. how.
maybe it's just cause we're older now?
also, i genuinely think you've been successful. a deficit is still a deficit, and you've lost overall, which is great! also i find your accountability interesting?? it doesn't bore me and i do enjoy reading it (& i'm sure everyone else following along does too!)
sending you love & fluency in your language learning! <3

Hi! Thank you so much for this message, you seem so sweet!! Honestly you're so right; I'm considering that I should be a bit less harsh on myself. I have lost overall, which is more than I've done in previous months!
I would say the same to you though, from your accountability you seem to be making a lot of progress. We should all probably give ourselves a break c:
You're right about restricting being harder with age, but also I feel like if you've been restricting for a while, there is a bit of a snapping point?? Like it's going to be hard for a while, but I agree that it will get better. Best of luck to both of us in that regard <3
Also It's really nice of you to say that you find my accountability interesting! I really appreciate it, and I enjoy reading yours btw!!
Sending love, I hope you have a great day! <3

Hey, I'm sorry but I'm probably going to delete my account as well as all of my posts (and therefore not update this thread). I have too many things going on at the moment, as well as somebody literally finding me on here. This isn't a proper explanation, but :c
Thank you to anybody who ever interacted with me on here, you've all been so sweet. I probably will make another account at some point, and when I do I will catch up with you + your threads [but I won't say it's me, sorry! I am sorry, but I can't risk this person finding me again, because ...]
